Page 6Relatives in Clinton received a telegram Monday morning of the death of L. E. Walls. Mr. Walls died Monday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Cameron of Las Anamas, Colo. Mr. Walls was well known here having been in the harness business at the corner of Fourth street and First avenue in Clinton for many years. He was born in England and came to this country with his parents and settled in Clinton county. He later moved to Clinton and started a harness store which he ran up until about eight years ago at which time he moved to Las Anamas to take up his residence with his daughter. He leaves to mourn his death one daughter, Mrs. John Cameron of Las Animas, Colo., three sisters, Miss Betsy Walls of Camanche, Mrs. A. L. Nichols of Camanche and Mrs. Henry Howard of Chicago, and three brothers, George and Charles Walls of Clinton and Fred Walls of Camanche.
