Page 1AGED CALAMUS RESIDENT DEAD
Calamus -- Coroner C. F. Kellogg of Clinton was called here this morning on account of the finding Sunday morning of the dead body of Henry Tryon aged 65 years in the timber south of Calamus. Death was evidently due to heart failure and no inquest is to be held. Mr. Tryon, a veteran of Co. G, Third Ohio calvary, had been to visit his brother residing in the timber near the Wapsie river south of town Saturday night and was evidently stricken enroute home. His body was found in the timber and death had evidently occurred early Sunday morning.
