Page 3Relatives have been notified of the death of Mrs. Bridget Connole at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Tierman, at Davenport. She was the aunt of T. L. Cannole, John and James Connole and was a former resident of DeWitt. T. L. and John Connole went to Davenport to make arrangements to have the remains brought here for burial on Tuesday next.

Page 3The remains of Mrs. Bridget Connole were brought from Davenport to the Catholic cemetery for burial as the funeral services had been previously conducted at the cathedral in Davenport. Mrs. Connole was born in county Clare, Ireland, eighty-five years ago and in her early womanhood she was married there to John Connole. They came to America in 1863 and settled and resided in DeWitt for many years. Later the family moved to Minnesota, where they spent several years and recently Mrs. Connole returned to Iowa and made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Frank Tierman of Davenport, who with one brother, Thomas of Cleveland, Ohio, are the sole survivors of a family of six children. She possessed the characteristic of a good Christian, a devoted wife and mother and exerted an uplifting influence in the communities in which she lived.
The pall bearers were P F Connole, Grand Mound, Thomas Tierman, John Ryan, Welton, Ralph Connole, Dr. C. V. Connole and Frank Connole.
Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mollie and ? Tierman and Miss Mary Show?? of Davenport, Mr. and Mrs. P ? Wolfe of Clinton and Mrs. Lynch of Fulton.
