Funeral services for the late Mrs. Claus Franzen were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from her late residence, 667 Washington street. Rev. Hugo Grimm, of St. John's Lutheran church, officiated in both the German and English language. The funeral services were largely attended, and the floral offerings were beautiful. Interment was in Springdale cemetery. She is survived by a husband and nine children.
