The remains of James Kindred, a former resident of this city, will arrive from Salt Lake City Sunday morning and will be taken to the residence at Washington and Twelfth streets, Lyons.

Services will be held at the Methodist church at Lyons Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be made in Springdale cemetery.

James Kindred, a former resident of Clinton was buried this afternoon at Springdale, the services being held from the Lyons Methodist Episcopal church in charge of the Rev. R. C. Keagy.

Mr. Kindred was a son of Mr. and Mrs. James Kindred who lived in this city for many years. He was born in Clinton October 30, 1872. In 1904 Mr. Kindred went to the western coast and soon located at Salt Lake City, where he was employed as a structural worker. His death was caused by accident. In some manner his body was struck by a train, both limbs being severed and his face and arms slightly disfigured. As a member of the International Association of Structural Iron Workers, Local 27; Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 67; Loyal Order of Moose, No. 259. His body was cared for by these fraternities and made ready for shipment to the home of his brother Harry C. Kindred, in Clinton.

Mr. Kindred was unmarried. He was a man of large heart and generous nature. His last visit to his mother was made two years ago. He is survived by the mother, three brothers, Harry C. of Clinton, Benjamin of Chicago, and Joseph of Savannah, and one sister, Mrs. Claus Rief, of Clinton.
