22 January 1916 - The Clinton Advertiser

Mrs. Leon Brandt, formerly Miss Harriet Potter, passed away at 11 o'clock this morning at Agatha Hospital, where she had been receiving treatment for a complication of diseases.

The deceased was born in Clinton and spent her entire life here. She was the daughter of the late A. R. Potter, her death being the third in the family in a few years, her brother having passed away last fall.

A consultation of physicians was held at the hospital in the hope of saving her life, but the utmost efforts of the physicians were unavailing. Her many Clinton friends learned today with sincere sorrow of her untimely death.

The funeral will be held from the residence, 215 Third avenue at 2:30 o'clock Monday afternoon.
