Mrs. Kate Jones, aged 44 years, died very suddenly Wednesday morning at her home in Spring Valley township in the northern part of the city. She arose in the morning, but complained of not feeling as well as usual. Her husband, who is employed at the lock factory, was called home at 9 o'clock, and on his arrival, found Mrs. Jones in an unconscious condition. In a few moments she passed away, without regaining consciousness. A stroke of apoplexy is assigned as the cause of her death.
Besides her husband, the deceased leaves five children. A son in Brooklyn, one in Rochester, N.Y. and a daughter living in Chicago have been wired of their mother's death and no funeral arrangements will be made until they are heard from.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Jones, who died suddenly at her home on Ninth street, will be held from the residence at 2 o'clock this afternoon, Rev. Tower officiating. Interment will be made at Oakland cemetery.
