Mrs. Patrick Casey died at 11 o'clock Friday night at her home on the corner of Fourth and Hickory streets after a week's illness, due to the infirmities of old age, she being 80 years old.
She was born in Ireland, and came to this country and settled with her husband in Clinton in 1856, residing her ever since. She was thus one of the oldest residents of Clinton. She is survived by her aged husband, her children, Mary, Thomas and Edward Casey, her sisters, Mrs. Brogan and Mrs. Donnelly, and her brother, Patrick Canningham, all of Clinton.
The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock this morning from St. Patrick's church, of which the deceased was a member. Interment was made in St. Mary's cemetery.
