PRESTON MAN KILLED BY KICK OF HORSE

August Yaddof, of near Preston, was killed at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon when he was kicked by a horse on the farm operated by his son, Elmer Yaddof, three and one-half miles southeast of Preston. His neck was broken by the blow and he died within a few minutes.

It is reported that Yaddof was attempting to harness the horse when it kicked him with fatal results. A Preston physician was summoned but efforts to revive the dying man were fruitless. He is survived by four sons and one daughter: August, of Elwood; Edward, Elmer and Walter, of near Preston, and Mrs. August Petersen, of Preston.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church in Preston with burial in the Spragueville Cemetery. Rev. Langholz officiated.
