Mrs. George (Eleanor L.) Fromang

The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Pape Funeral Home for Mrs. George (Eleanor L.) Fromang, 74, of 2302 Chancy St., and Lake Wales, Fla. She died Tuesday in Winter Haven Hospital, Winter Haven, FLa.

The Rev. Camarin Pacifico of St. Mark's Methodist Church, Camanche, will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Camanche.

Pallbearers will be Gary Munson, Sr., Gary Munson, Jr., Brian McManus, Jason Holmes, Leo Johnson and Gene Holmes.

Mrs. Fromang was born Dec. 17, 1914, in Jackson County, to Dillion and Emma Yarolem Street. She married Eugene Holmes, March 17, 1939. He died in 1960. She later married George Fromang, November 22, 1969, in Camanche. She was a 1933 graduate of Clinton High School, and had been employed at Grant's and Clinton National Bank.

She was a member of St. Mark's Methodist Church, and the VFW Auxiliary, Camanche.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Nancy McManus of Camanche, Mrs. Leo (Vici) Johnson of Clinton, and Mrs. Gary (Kay) Munson of Thomson; a son, James Holmes, of Camanche; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Oltmanns, of Clinton.

She was preceded in death by a grandson and two brothers.
