Larry Humphrey 91. of Clinton , died March 18, 2017, there will be a burial at Clinton Lawn Cemetery Saturday 25th at noon with military honors by Clinton Amvet Post 28. Friends are welcome.

Larry was born in Clinton, April 29, 1925 the son of Frank and Opal Humphrey. Larry married Peggy Thomas on May 29, 1965. He served in the Navy during WWII 1943-1946. Employed by Chicago Northwestern Railroad 1946-1987. He was a member of the Eagles Club (48 yrs.) and of the Clinton Amvets Club. Life long Chicago Cubs, Bears and Steelers fan. He enjoyed shuffleboard, golf and bowling with his friends.

Larry is survived by his grandson Jason Thomas who was like a son to Larry and cared for Larry at home the last few years. Stepsons: Terry Thomas, Jeff Thomas, Scott Thomas and Mark Thomas, step daughter Lynn Hopkins, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister and grandson Maurice Thomas

His love, generosity and caring touched so many during his life. Larry will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. Help us celebrate his life at the Eagles club Saturday 25th from 1-5 pm with prayer at 2:00.
