Mark S. Hubbart, 65, of Clinton, passed away, Friday, March 10, 2017 at his home - Clinton.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be David Schneider, Mike Meyers, Dave Layton, Kurt Hubbart, Rick Pike and Mark Haferbier. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the service hour Wednesday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com.

Mark Stewart Hubbart was born February 3, 1952 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Jack and Evelyn (Miller) Hubbart. He was a 1970 graduate of Clinton High School, received his Associates Degree from Clinton Community College and also took art classes at Mt. St. Clare. He married JaNean Goodell on June 21, 1975 in Clinton, Iowa; she passed away on June 29, 2007. He later married Ann Schneider on March 17, 2012 in Low Moor, Iowa. Mark worked for the City of Clinton as a Housing and Zoning Inspector for 29 years retiring in 2009 and also worked as a professional Portrait Artist.

He was a member of the Church of the Open Door where he played in the church band; most recently he was attending the River Church. He was a talented artist and musician and a member of the Clinton Art Association and the Palisade's Art League. He contributed as an artist to many other art associations.

Mark is survived by his loving wife Ann Hubbart of Clinton; his mother: Evelyn Hubbart of Clinton; three siblings: Brent (Gabby) Hubbart of Belen, New Mexico, Bonnie (Mike) Meyers of Clinton and Kurt (Rhonda) Hubbart of Clinton; four step-children: Cari Jacobs of Columbus, Ohio, Jon "Nathan" (Laura) Jacobs of Byron, Minnesota, Lindsay (Bilge) Mutlu of Washington DC and Ashely Jacobs of Beaver Creek, Ohio; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, wife JaNean, and twin infant sisters.
