Doris Rayfield, age 81, of Clinton, IA, died Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Eagle Point Nursing Home in Clinton, IA.
Doris was born on April 19, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Ryle. She married Joseph Hayward Rayfield in 1955 in Philadelphia, PA . He preceded her in death in 1988. Doris was employed at Lankenau Hospital in Philadelphia, PA as a CNA.
Survivors include one daughter, Jacqueline (Tom) Jepsen of Clinton, IA; two sons, Hayward Rayfield and Malachi (Nicole) Rayfield both of Philadelphia, PA; five grandchildren, Zachary Rayfield, Joel Rayfield Douthit, Alvin Rayfield Eley, Jr., Christopher Rayfield and Tyrese Rayfield; and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and one daughter, Leslie Rayfield.
A gathering of family and friends will be on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from Noon - 1:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1100 11th Avenue North, Clinton, IA. Memorial services will be Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the church with Brother Rob Evers officiating.
