Randy J. Welcher, age 60, of Clinton, passed away Monday, February 27, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center North. Cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Ray's Time Out. Burial will be at a later dates in Hillside Cemetery, Plainwell, Michigan. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Randy was born in Plainwell, MI on December 29, 1956, the son of Paul and Barbara (Nyberg) Welcher. He had served with the U.S. Army for 11 years. Randy was employed at Collis, Inc. In his younger years back in Michigan he enjoyed dancing on Saturday nights. He enjoyed following the Detroit Tigers and was a huge Michigan Wolverine fan. Randy was a very good hearted man. He loved life one day at a time and would literally give you the shirt off his back.

Randy is survived by a sister, Kathryn Welcher of Plainwell; a sister-in-law, Judy Welcher of Clinton and several nieces and nephews.
