The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, February 10, 1888

On Tuesday afternoon Mrs. D. P. Cox was stricken down with an attack of paralysis and before help could be summoned she breathed her last. She was the mother of Mrs. A. G. Smith, who died about one year ago. Mrs. Cox was 69 years of age, and an estimable lady, highly respected and esteemed by all who knew her.
