The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 27, 1888

On Tuesday night, Bennie Blanchard aged 5 years, son of David Blanchard, returned his soul to the God who gave it. Mr. Blanchard is bowed down to the earth with grief and sorrow. In less than two years he had been called upon to lay in the tomb a beloved wife and four children. All Clinton sympathizes with him in his almost unparalleled affliction
