The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 20, 1888

On Friday night last at the residence of her daughter Mrs. Geo. Chalker, after an illness of quite a long duration, Mrs. Isabelle Lamb, wife of Mrs. Emory Lamb, yielding her spirit to the God who gave it. Mrs. Lamb was sixty-six years of age, and for many years had resided in Carroll County, Illinois, and at the time of her death was staying with her daughter in order the more conveniently to be medically treated. The funeral occurred at the late home of the deceased in York, Carroll County, Illinois on Monday. Mrs. Lamb was all that was loveable about a wife, mother, sister, and friend.
