The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, January 20, 1888

In Camanche Monday after an illness of several weeks Mr. Fred H. Anthony bade farewell to earth and passed into the unknown future. Mr. Anthony was 30 years of age and was born and brought up in Camanche. He leaves a widow and two children and a large circle of relatives and acquaintances to mourn his loss. The funeral occurred at the Baptist Church in Camanche on Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Anthony was well known in the city and he possesses the respect and esteem of all who knew him.
