The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, April 9, 1886

The many warm friends of William Alvord will regret to learn of his death which occurred Tuesday afternoon. Will was in the employ of the McDowell Carriage works of this city and was esteemed by his fellow employers, his shop mates and by all who knew him. The sympathy of the entire community go out to the stricken family. The funeral will occur today with services from the family residence.
