The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, April 9, 1886

Last Monday night Mr. John Doran, an old and respected member of this community died at his home in Lyons at the advanced age of 78 years. He leaves a family of grown up sons to mourn the loss of an honest, hardworking, and upright father. The funeral took place from St. Irenaeus Church and the remains were placed in the Catholic Cemetery.
