Mary Ann Simmons, 55, of Omaha, NE formerly Clinton, IA passed away February 08, 2017 at home with her loving family at her side. It was Mary's wish not to have any services. She will be cremated and her ashes will be scattered in Maui, HI upon Deborah's death.

Mary was born August 15, 1961 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Frank and Dolores (Leonard) Simmons. She was a 1979 graduate of Clinton High School. Following high school, she attended Clinton Community College and graduated in 1989 with a registered nurse license. Mary was united in marriage to her best friend Deborah Clark in Maui, HI on June 5, 1999.

Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Clinton. Mary worked at Fejervary Health Care Center, Davenport IA, The Manors of Hobe Sound, Hobe Sound FL, Savannah Nursing and Rehab and Savannah Specialty Care Center, Savannah GA, and at The Ambassador Health of Omaha NE. Mary enjoyed playing the lottery weekly, spending time trying her luck with several one armed bandits, playing bingo, boating in warm weather, watching Iowa Hawkeyes football and making that perfect fire in the outdoor fireplace or the one in the house.

Above all she loved her family dearly and will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Mary is survived by her spouse Deborah Clark, Omaha; daughter London Adams, Orlando, FL; her fur babies Zoe, Briggitta, and Max; sisters Debra Roesger, Navarre FL, Donna (Mike) Lueders, Clinton IA, Brenda (Dean) Merrill, Clinton IA; brothers Steve (Lois) Simmons, Chester VA, Jim Simmons, Canon CO, Bruce (Susan) Simmons, DeWitt IA, Frank (Michaela) Simmons, Crosby TX ; twenty nieces and nephews; twenty two great nieces and nephews; aunts Bernice Schluns, Kathleen Clouse and Marion Spooner all of Clinton IA; many cousins.
Preceding Mary in death were her parents, Frank and Dolores, brother Dennis Simmons, sister Diane Simmons-Wenzl, nephew John Simmons, great niece Kaya Lueders.
