The Clinton Age, Clinton, Iowa, April 25, 1884

Mrs. Jane Fulson, mother of Messrs. D. A. and R. A. Parsons, died at the residence of her son D. A. Parsons, on Eleventh Avenue, Monday, at the age of 74 years. For a number of years Mrs. Fulson had been an invalid and has borne it all very patiently until death relieved her of her suffering. Deceased came to this city in 1862, and during her long stay has made many warm friends. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Miss Garard, and the remains were placed in Springdale Cemetery.
