In Memoriam

The death of Lizzie, daughter of Col. S. G. Magill, which occurred on Saturday morning has created a void in the community very difficult to fill. The young lady, before being taken down with consumption, was the center of a large circle of friends and acquaintances, all of whom admired her for her gentle disposition, winsome manners and social worth. Her’s was a Christian life and a Christian’s death. Very few people go down to the tomb so sincerely mourned, so deeply regretted, by so many sorrow-stricken weeping companions as Lizzie Magill. Her place beyond the dark river must be high up among the pure, the just, the good and the noble.
