Orville G. Krogman age 80 of Clinton, passed away Saturday Jan. 14th at the Alverno Health Care Facility. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM Friday Jan. 20th at Prince of Peace Parish. Visitation will be held 4 - 8 PM Thursday Jan. 19th at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Casket bearers will be Alan Krogman, his godsons; Jason Kaczinski, Patrick Clemence, Tom Krogman, grandsons; Ryan Dierickx and Jack Krogman. Honorary pallbearers will be Mathias, Conrad, and Otto Kroymann. Memorials may be given to the Prince of Peace Hall Building Fund. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com

Orville was born on April 23, 1936 in Clinton, the son of Martin and Josephine (Determan) Krogman. He graduated from Elvira High School in 1954. He was a veteran of the US Air/Naval Reserves for over 6 years. He married Phyllis Kaczinski on Sept. 9, 1961 in Bryant, Iowa. Orville lived and farmed the family farm for over 72 years. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and Knights of Columbus. Orville enjoyed spending time with family, watching R.F.D.-TV, listening to polka music, going to farm sales and touring the countryside. Orville could talk to anyone, he never met a stranger.

Orville is survived by his wife, Phyllis; six children, Sheryl (Jerry) Dierickx of Marysville, WA, Paul (Robin) Krogman of Clinton, Brent Krogman of Plano, TX, Scott (Jennifer) Krogman of Ellington, CT, Beth (Michael) Kroymann of Clinton, and Andrea (Blake) Thompson of Clinton; 13 grandchildren, Ryan, Erin, Montanna, Ciera, Emma, Jack, Abigail, Mathias, Conrad, Otto, Evelyn, Charlotte, and Madeline; two brothers, Robert (Marijo) Krogman of Clinton and Merle (Mary) Krogman of Stockton, IL; two sisters, Donna Burke of Uplands, CA and Joan Kremer of Dubuque, IA; and several nieces and nephews.
