VICTOR LOREN ROGGENDORF, 87, of Big Meadows Nursing Home, Savanna, IL, formerly of Morrison, IL, died Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at the nursing home.

The funeral service will be 10:30 A.M. Thursday, January 12, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Morrison with Rev. Dick Adams, officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 P.M., Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be at Grove Hill Cemetery in Morrison.

Victor was born December 13, 1929, in Clinton, IA, to Julius Victor and Velma F. (St. Ores) Roggendorf. He had served in the U.S. Army. Victor married Marilyn J. Betts on October 9, 1971 in Cordova, IL. She died January 24, 2014. Victor worked at Nelson's Electric in Morrison, Drives Inc. in Fulton and he was also a farmer. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Morrison. Memorials have been established to St. Jude Children's Hospital and First Baptist Church.

Survivors include one son, Todd (Rebecca Burmeister) Betts of Morrison, IL; one stepson, Wayne Betts of Rock Falls, IL; and one granddog, Bud.
