Ruth Heine age 83 of Clinton, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Alverno Health Care Facility. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 PM on Sunday, January 8th at the Pape Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will be from Noon until the service time on Sunday. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the family.

Ruth was born in Zwenkau, Germany on May 14, 1933, the daughter of Armin and AnnaIda (Schenke) Rauchfuss. In 1968 she married Werner Heine in Morrison, IL. Ruth loved to travel and was an avid reader.

Ruth is survived by two daughters, Gabriele Carter of Herndon, VA and Andrea (Larry) Dunmore of Janesville, WI; a daughter in law Jennifer (Todd) Schau of Goose Lake, IA; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeremy) Frost, Kasey (Joshua) Rosburg, Marisa and Payten Heine, Kyla Schau, Ashley (Kipp) Lange, Geof (Paige) Dunmore, Matthew (Erin) Dunmore, and Katie Carter; and nine great grandchildren.
