Loretta was born in Ottumwa, IA in 1938 to Henry and Sylvia (Thill) Bremhorst. She graduated from St. Mary's H.S., Clinton, in 1956. She married Richard of Clinton in 1957. Her fondest memories were the years they spent in the Navy while stationed in Hawaii. She devoted her life around her five children and their youth activities holding key positions such as Little League President, organizing fund raising activities and coaching cheerleading. Her selfless dedication to her children overflowed to the neighborhood children as well. She enjoyed working for Barbers Point Naval Air Station Security Dept. Loretta retired from Ralston Purina in 1997.
Surviors include: son, Terry, daughters Laurie Darling (Rick) and Cheryl Poage (Paul Aguire), son David, brother Joe Bremhorst, of Concord, California, six grandchildren and Twelve great grandchildren and her kitty Fluffy.
Loretta was preceeded in death by her husband Richard, son Robert (Bobby), granddaughter Sheri Leann Kupfer, and a brother John Bremhorst of DesMoines.
