Agnes M. Marr Kerwin, 93, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Mercy Living Center - North - Clinton.
A Celebration of Life will be from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Agnes Mae Buckman was born May 17, 1923 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Carrie (Judd) Buckman. She married Eugene Marr; he preceded her death in 1991; she later married Jackman Kerwin and he preceded her in death in 2006.
She worked as a waitress and cook for most of her life most notably as the school cook for the Camanche School District for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards.
Agnes is survived by her three children: Charlene (Ronald) Haring of Camanche, Jean Boeding of Clinton and Tim Marr of Clinton; six grandchildren: Teresa (Mark) McChane of Davenport, Tammy (Dean Gruhn) DeWitt of DeWitt, Gina (Craig) Anderson of Low Moor, Dawn Smith of Camanche, Leigh (Chris) Nylin of Clinton and Mark Boeding of Low Moor; 14 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; one sister: Vera Ott of Davenport; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands and seven siblings.
Memorial may be made to the Low Moor Fire Department or the Low Moor Lions Club.
