Gerald A. Turner, 80, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Genesis Medical Center - East Campus.

Gerald Arnold Turner was born on March 10, 1936 in Low Moor, Iowa, the son of Charles and Dora (Stowell) Turner. He married Janice Petersen on May 23, 1968 in Clinton; she died November 2, 2001.
Gerald owned and operated the Steak Inn Supper Club from 1973-1985, before moving to Las Vegas where he worked at the Imperial Palace.

Gerald enjoyed writing poetry and also going to the casino. He was a wonderful father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family, and he will be dearly missed.
Gerald is survived by children: Jerry Turner, Glenn Turner, Tom (Cindy) Moore of Kingman, Arizona, Terri (Wally) Schilling of Gulfport, Mississippi, and Barbara (Adrian) Deering of Clinton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; siblings: Rosie Jensen, Pearl Perryman, Bob Turner & Jim Turner and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons: Guy & Kevin; his wife; three sisters, and four brothers.
