Nellie Hartig, 95, of Clinton, passed away, Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Eagle Point Nursing Home – Clinton.

Private Family services will be Friday, November 25, 2016 at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
Nellie Frances Krebs was born on October 19, 1921 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Orville and Frankie (Carr) Krebs. She married Lawrence Hartig in Ridgeland, South Carolina on February 14, 1942; he died July 29, 1970.

Nellie was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to the casino.

Nellie is survived by her sister: Mary Jo Witt of Clinton, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, and two sisters in infancy.
