Tony R. Chavez, 48, of Clinton, passed away, Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at his home.
Services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, November 26, 2016, at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Following the services the body will be cremated.

Anthony Robert Chavez was born on December 31, 1967 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of John and Darlene (Chartrand) Chavez. He worked for Victoria’s Banquets in Chicago for many years. He also worked for Pallet Recovery in Fulton.

He enjoyed cooking, enjoyed spending time with his family, pulling pranks on his family and friends making them laugh, and loved his dogs.

He is survived by his daughter: Jessica Chavez of Orlando, Florida; two grandchildren; his mother: Darlene Chavez of Clinton; his sister:: Michelle Escobar of Northport, Florida, brother: John Chavez of Northport, Florida, his aunts: Marlene Polito of Wheaton, Illinois and Alice Chavez of Clinton; his uncle: Woodrow Chartrand of Chicago and several cousins including Nick Chavez of Clinton.

He was preceded in death by his father, his maternal and paternal grandparents, his cousin Geno Smith, aunt Rose, and uncle Pat.
