Corrinne J. Parker, 89, formerly of Clinton, died Saturday, November 26, 2016 in Bradenton, FL. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Saturday January 7, 2017 at the Pape Funeral Home. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until the service time. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Bellevue. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Prince of Peace schools. Corrinne Dautremont was born on September 3, 1927 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She was the daughter of Elberta and “Dutch” Dautremont and graduated from the Immaculate Conception School in Cedar Rapids. She was employed at Iowa Mutual Insurance Company in Cedar Rapids. She married Gerald Parker in Cedar Rapids on January 24, 1948 and moved to Clinton in 1950; Gerald died on April 3, 1997. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Clinton. Corrinne (“Corky”) loved humming birds, golf and bridge, but most of all she loved her family. Corky became a winter resident of Bradenton in 1993 but for many years she continued to spend her summers in Bellevue or Clinton. Corrinne is survived by four children, Janice (Louis), David (Deb), Jeffrey (Cindy), and Scott (Kelli); 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; her sister, Marilynn Alberhasky of Iowa City and by her dear friend, Jack Bradley of Bradenton.
