Jan Phelan age 59 of Clinton passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 at her home. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 16th at the Christ Episcopal Church located at 2100 North Second Street in Clinton. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the service time on Wednesday. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery in LeClaire. Pall Bearers will be Jay and Brady Jarrett, Rob and Dean Montgomery, and Steve Alley. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com. Jan Phelan was born on January 15, 1957 in Clinton, the daughter of Frank and Iris (Darcy) Phelan. Jan was a member of the Truth Singers and an enthusiastic participant at Karaoke on Wednesday nights at Triple Play Bowling Alley in Fulton. She was blessed to have care-givers from the Community Care and DAC Inc. that loved her until the end. Jan is survived her her sisters, Bertie Tilberg of Joplin, MO, Amy Heavin of Warrensburg, MO, Geneva Montgomery of Galena, IL, Maudie (Charles) Stoltenberg of Clinton, Eva Alley of Lawrence, KS, and Bonnie Holle of Beaumont, CA and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank all who were a part of Jan’s life, especially Jacci Arioso, Anna Kuhl, Tina McQuistion (Case Management), Mandy Moring, Celeste Robbins, Kellie Schneider, Amy Lynne, Sharon Prater, and Lisa Fletcher. A special thanks to Doug Heppner Jr. for his patience at Karaoke and Scott and Annette Kaczinski Family Music Ministries for their dedication to the special needs community. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the charity of your choice or to Scott Kaczinski Family Music Ministries.
