Carolyn Dunmore age 92 of Clinton, passed away Saturday Nov. 5, 2016 at the Alverno Health Care Facility. Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday Nov. 8th at the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com. Carolyn was born on Aug. 4, 1924 in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Vern and Minnie (Ramsey) Houser. She married Edwin Dunmore on June 21, 1942 in Missouri; he died in 2014. Carolyn was a homemaker, where she loved to cook. She was one of the Jehovah Witness, Kingdom Hall in Clinton. She was a generous and giving person. Her family meant everything to her. She enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren sporting events. Carolyn loved to travel. Carolyn is survived by her three children, Larry (Andrea) Dunmore of Janesville, WI, James (Brenda) Dunmore of Clinton, and Steve Dunmore of Roseville, CA; 10 grandchildren, Kelly, Linsey, Geoffrey, Matt, Ashley, Nathan, Daniel, Aaron, Jennifer, and Kasey; and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and several brothers and sisters.
