Wayne F. Lueders, 83, of Clinton, passed away Monday, August 1, 2016 at Clinton Medical Center – Clinton.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Wayne Frederick Lueders was born June 9, 1933 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Edward and Ann (Mahmens) Lueders. He was a 1951 Clinton High School graduate. He served in the United States Army. He married Connie Berner on June 1, 1958 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church – in Davenport, IA.

He was a past member of the Moose Lodge and past member of Eagles Club of Clinton. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He loved to dance and play cards with his wife and friends. Wayne especially enjoyed a trip taken to Las Vegas and a cruise through the Caribbean.

He is survived by his wife Connie Lueders of Clinton; one son: Mark Lueders of Clinton, two sister in law: Pat Lueders of Clinton and June (Lewis) Urmie of Blue Grass, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother: Willis Lueders, brother in law Carl Berner and one nephew Glenn Lueders.
