The Clinton Herald Thursday May 16, 1957 p. 8 Mrs. Frank Sullivan, 72, or 516 N. Division St., Davenport, formerly of DeWitt and a relative of several residents of this area, died Wednesday in Mercy hospital, Davenport. She entered the hospital Tuesday. The funeral will be conducted Friday morning in St. Alphonsus Catholic church, Davenport, and burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery, DeWitt. The body is in the Halligan funeral home, Davenport. Dolly Redmond, sister of the late Mrs. William Gribbon, Sr., of DeWitt, was born Oct. 2, 1884, Lanesboro, Minn. She was married to Mr. Sullivan Oct. 8, 1902, in DeWitt. The couple moved to Davenport in 1919 from DeWitt. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic church. Survivors include a son, John of Dundee, Ill.; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard Yonts of Davenport, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1947, and by a daughter, two brothers and a sister.
