The Clinton Herald Saturday November 20, 1965 p. 5 Leon B. Brandt, 79, veteran Clinton automobile dealer, died this morning at Mercy hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Grace Episcopal church, with the Rev. Gordon Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Springdale cemetery. Friends may call at the Bragonier-Fay funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Brandt, who resided at 215 3rd Ave. S., was a Buick dealer in Clinton for more than 50 years. He was active in Elks Club, United Commercial Travelers, Western Star Lodge 100, AF & AM, and DeMolay Consistory. He was born Jan. 7, 1886, in Clinton, the son of Anthony C. and Mary Shelter Brandt. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. H.L. (Mary) Decker of Clinton; one granddaughter; and one brother, Frank C. of Chicago.
