The Clinton Herald Monday June 16, 1975 p. 11 Mrs. Lawrence J. (Bernice) Halbach, 69, of Excelsior, Minn., formerly of Clinton, died in Exclesior Sinday. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Patrick's Church precceded by a prayer service at 9:30 a.m. at Delaney Funeral Home. Burial will be in St. Irenaeus Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the parish Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Pallbearers will be David O'Brien, Lester Johansen, Lawrence Hingten, Thomas Blossfeld, Frank McGrath and Thomas O'Brien. Mrs. Halbach was born Aug. 4, 1905, in Clinton, the daughter of James and Margaret McGrath. She married Lawrence J. Halbach, Oct. 3, 1928, in Clinton. They moved to Minnesota 14 years ago. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Jean) Blossfeld of Grand Rapids, Mich.; one son, James L. of Minnetonka, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Irene O'Brien of Clinton; and six grandchildren.
