Mrs. Iva "Mickey" Russett, 95, of Princeton, Missouri, died Thursday, May 26, 2016, at Pearl's II Eden for Elders in Princeton.

Mrs. Russett, the former Iva Mae Johnstone was born August 6, 1920, in Rochester, New York, to Floyd Earl and Lillian Jennie (Machesney) Johnstone. She attended Clinton High School. On June 1, 1940, Mickey was united in marriage to William Fort in Davenport, Iowa. She later married Frank Russett June 24, 1951, in Lancaster, Wisconsin. The couple resided in Davenport. Mickey worked for Doctors Kuhl and Donahue and then Doctor Stoner as a bookkeeper/receptionist. Her husband preceded her in death January 19, 1996.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends, as well as reading.

Surviving are children, Barbara Jean Earle and Bill Fort of Las Vegas, Nevada, Marilyn Diane (Roger) Hughes of Rockford, Illinois, Diane Elaine (Gary) Wages of Princeton and Kathy Jenkins of Dewey, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; a cousin, Phyllis Jansen of DeWitt; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Frank, Mickey was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Wharry; a grandson, Waylon Wages; her parents as well as a brother and sister.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 1st at Center Grove Cemetery, rural Bryant, Iowa.
