Caroline F. Leslie McBride, age 54 of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Clinton, passed away Monday, April 11, 2016 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 14th at the Pape Funeral Home. Caroline was born in Clinton on December 19, 1961, the daughter of Jack and Judith (Hess) Leslie. She graduated from Clinton High School. Caroline married Rick Wirth in Clinton. She later married Sean Martin in Clinton. He preceded her death. She later married Paul McBride in Clinton. Paul preceded her in death. Caroline enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, fishing, camping, being outdoors in the sun, swimming, drawing and pottery. Caroline is survived by three sons, Christian Wirth of the Quad Cities, Justin Wirth and Joshua (Emily) Quint of Prior, OK; three grandchildren, Jayden, Nathan and Belle; seven sisters, Linda Corbisier of Clinton, Leanna (Delbert) Geffers of Clinton, Laurie (Daryl) Behrens of Clinton, Valerie (Russell) Oberman of Davenport, Regina (Sharon Hadraba) Leslie of Plattsmouth, NB, Mary Hoffman of Clinton, Jennifer Holt of Clinton and Amy Leslie of Cedar Rapids and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John. Memorials may be made to the family.
