Cathryn Bernice Todtz , age 94, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Mercy North Medical Center, Clinton. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be from 11 – 1 P.M. at the church. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com Cathryn was born on August 28, 1921 in Walker, Iowa, the daughter of Gilbert and Hazel (Reed) Arnold. She married Harry Albert Todtz on August 2, 1947 in Clinton, Iowa, at St. John Lutheran Church. Cathryn spent the majority of her life as a home maker and also worked at Allen’s Tea Room and Kline’s Department Store. In years past, Cathryn and Harry enjoyed wintering in Texas. She was a member of Ladies Aid at St. John Lutheran Church. She is survived by three daughters, Sharon (Mac) McCurry, Summerfield, Florida, Linda Regenwether, Ocala, Florida, and Marilyn (Michael) McKeown, Castle Rock, Colorado; 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Vivian Ockenfels, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; two brothers, Harold (Wilma) Arnold of Paducah, Kentucky and Norman Arnold of Dunnellon, Florida; a daughter in law, Jean Todtz, Goose Lake, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Harry Todtz, a son, Melvin Todtz, a brother, Kenneth Arnold, and son in law, Jake Regenwether.
