Beatrice “Bea” B. Zastrow age 92 of Clinton, passed away with loving memories and care from her family on Wednesday, March 30th, 2016. A funeral service will be held at noon on Monday April 4, 2016 at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the service time Monday morning. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Beatrice was born on November 7, 1923 in Clinton, the daughter of August and Grace (Bos) Luckritz. She graduated from Lyons High School. Bea married Joseph “Joe” Zastrow on August 4th, 1946 in Clinton. Joe died in 2000. In her younger years, Bea worked for Clinton Garment Factory and later retired as a packer with International Paper. She was a member of Chancy Lutheran Church. Bea enjoyed gardening, going on walks, doing word searches, baking and adding to her collection of paper dolls and skunks. Bea is survived by her three children, Jolyce (Douglas) Skinner of Diamond Head, MS, Francis (Pamela) Zastrow of Clinton and Gail Godat (Ed Brooks) of Erie, IL; seven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Joe, two brothers; Glen and Jule, and a sister Nola.
