Kathryn K. Adrian age 74 of Morrison, formerly of Charlotte, IA, passed away Thursday March 31st, 2016 at her home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 5th, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Morrison, IL. Visitation will take place from 4-7 PM on Monday April 4th at the Pape Funeral Home in Clinton. Burial will be at a later date. Pall Bearers will be grandchildren; Jason Bergmann, Amber Harmsen, Josh Bergmann, Angie Hartig, Lindsey Weis, Lance Adrian, Miranda Bergmann, Zachariah Adrian and Seth Adrian. Kathryn was born on July 4, 1941 in Iowa City, the daughter of William and Emma (Hubbe) Whitmore. She married Lyle Adrian on July 25th, 1959 in Charlotte, IA. Kathryn worked as a clerk at the Iowa State Bank, the Gateway State Bank and as city clerk for Charlotte. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Charlotte and St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Morrison, IL. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Kathryn and her husband enjoyed traveling and had visited 49 states. She enjoyed camping, cooking, baking, line dancing and storytelling. Kathryn is survived by her husband Lyle; children; Lonnie (Darla) Adrian, Kim (Craig) Bergmann both of Charlotte and Kyle (Laurie) Adrian of Blue Grass, IA, nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, brothers and sisters; Betty Roster of Colorado, Erma (Dwaine) Bruhn of Miles, Richard (Sherrill) Whitmore of Thomson, Karen (Stan) Opala of Clinton, Rena (Archie) Archibeque of Missouri, Deni (Steve) Wiemers of Gilmore City, IA and Steve Whitmore of Delmar and brother in laws Hugh Bowman of Maquoketa and Bill McDonald of Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Billy, Gary and Ed, three sisters; Mary Bowman, Joan McDonald and Judy Cox.
