Patricia J. Pelegrin age 83 of Clinton passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Mercy Living Center South. In following Patricia’s wishes a private graveside service will be held at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Patricia was born in Clinton on July 22, 1932, the daughter of Eugene and Margaret Louise (Mickelson) Wilcox. She graduated from St. Mary’s high School. Patricia married John F. Pelegrin, Jr. on June 21, 1955 in Clinton. John passed away on May 27, 2000. Patricia had been a switchboard operator with Northwestern Bell, had been a waitress at the Holiday Inn and Frontier Motor Inn, and she retired after 17 years of driving a school bus for the Clinton Public Schools. She was a member of Clinton Community Christian Church. She enjoyed going out for dinner with family and friends. Patricia is survived by three children; Rev. Debby (Jim) Manion of Clinton, Ed Pelegrin of East Moline, IL and Donna (Mark) Kunz of Fairfield, ME; two grandchildren, Bharati Manion and Swati Manion both of Clinton and a brother-in-law, Harry Roeder of Florence, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Shirley Roeder. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
