Arthur E. Perryman age 72 of Clinton passed away Friday, March 4, 2016 at Mercy Living Center South. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday March 9, 2016 at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM on Tuesday March 8th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Vance Wade, Roger Krabbenhoft, Don Harding, Don Walker, Chad Tholen and Scott Tichler. Art was born in Clinton on December 27, 1943, the son of Arthur H. and Isabelle (Jones) Perryman. He served for six years with the U.S. Army with two years of active duty in Vietnam during the Vietnam War. Art was the change-over supervisor at TMK IPSCO for 25 years. He had also been employed at Allied Structural Steel and Illinois Range. His family was very important to him, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with family and friends. Art is survived by four children; Melissa (Dan) Wilson of Hillsdale, IL, James (Michelle) Perryman, Nicholas Perryman, and Jennifer Perryman all of Clinton; three grandchildren, Caitlyn, Ashlynn and Baya; a brother, Richard Perryman of Dixon, IL and a sister, Marlene (Leon) Campbell of Davenport and nieces and nephews.
