Mrs. Henry J. Behrens died at her home at Lost Nation Sunday night about midnight of heart failure. Her little baby boy was nine days old, and she was getting along nicely intending to get up the next day when suddenly with only about ten minutes of warning the Angel of Death came upon the scene, and took her hence.

Mrs. Behrens, who got to be 27 years, one month and three days of age, was born near Elwood, Iowa. Her people and Behrens' were neighbors. Mr. and Mrs. Behrens were married about six years ago, and for the first four years resided on the Behrens farm near Elwood, but for the past two years they resided at Lost Nation.

Her sudden death, following so swift by her joy of motherhood came as an awful surprise and sad blow to her loved ones. Her husband and the nine-day old babe, her mother, five brothers and two sisters survive to mourn her untimely death.

Funeral was held Wednesday at Lost Nation.
