Mrs. Margaret L. Paul, 90, of DeWitt, died Friday evening, March 11, 2016, at Westwing Place, DeWitt.

She was born March 31, 1925, at rural DeWitt to Carl and Esther (Hansen) Johnson. Maggie worked at Iowa Mutual Insurance Company of DeWitt in her younger years.

Surviving are children, Sher (Dale) McMain of Delmar, Gary (Connie) Kent of Clinton and Steve (Lisa Marshall) Johnson of DeWitt; grandchildren, Michelle (Tom) Maher, Tera (Nic) Hahn and Ryan (Shawna) Kent; great-grandchildren, Steven and Cole Connell, Mitchell Maher, Tyler Cahoy and John Denahey; a sister, Mildred (Merrill) Hofer of Arizona; nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a sister, Marian Evers.

A family graveside service will be held at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Burial will follow.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to Westwing Place or Genesis Hospice.
