Jack McLeod, 70, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday July 19th, 2011. He was born November 22nd, 1940 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada to William Thomas and Eileen Ramesbottom McLeod.
Jack was a caring man, who loved people and enjoyed sharing his sense of humor with everyone. He worked for the railroad and was a member of Arkansas Street Machines and the Union Pacific Old Timers Club. He was also a member and Usher of Fellowship North.
Cherishing his memory are his wife of nearly 20 years, Bessie Meier McLeod; three children, Carrie Bynum of Reno, Nevada, Kimberly Smith (Steve) of Eightmile, Alabama, and John McLeod of Clinton, Iowa; three step-children, Debbie Corey (Greg) of Clinton, Iowa, Dale Burmeister of Greenbriar, Arkansas, and Steve Burmeister of Dewitt, Iowa; sister Lois Hawes of Prudenville, Michigan; brother, Doug McLeod of Clinton, Iowa, fourteen grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Jacks life will be held 3:00 P.M., Sunday, July 24th, 2011 at Fellowship North in North Little Rock.
