Clinton, IA - Mrs. John Meyers, 63, 218 Eighteenth place, died Tuesday night in Jane Lamb Hospital after three years illness. The body is in Snell Funeral Home where funeral services will be held Friday.

Mrs. Meyers was born in Norway, and April 11, 1908, was married to Mr. Meyers. Her husband and three children: Mrs. Thelma Allen, Chicago; Charles Meyers, Clinton, and Mrs. Frank Henningsen, Clinton; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Olof Olson [sic], Clinton, and Selmer Nordal, Beloit, Wis., survive.

Mrs. John Meyer [sic], 218 18th place, died at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday in Jane Lamb hospital, following several months' illness. The body reposes in the Snell funeral home. Tentative funeral plans have been made for Friday. Definite hour of the services will be announced tomorrow. The Rev. Robert Y. Johansson of the Emanuel Swedish Lutheran church will officiate.

Regena [sic] Olsen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Simon Olsen, was born Dec. 2, 1878, in Stavanger, Norway. She was united in marriage on April 11, 1908, at Rock Island, Ill. to John Meyer [sic].

Surviving her are her husband, four sisters and one brother in Norway, two daughters, Mrs. F.C. Henningsen of Clinton and Mrs. F. J. Allen of Chicago, one son, Charles E. Meyer [sic] of Clinton, two brothers, S. O. Nordal of Beloit, Wis., and O. B. Olsen, of Clinton, two grandchildren, Janice Kay and Frank Henningsen, of Clinton, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral rites for Mrs. John Meyer [sic] 218 Eighteenth place, who died Tuesday in Jane Lamb Hospital, were conducted at 1:30 p.m. today. The Rev. Robert Y. Johansson of the Emanuel Lutheran church officiated, and burial was in Clinton Memorial Park.

Pallbearers were William Pfuderer, Robert Lundeen, August Carlson, Marvin Carlson, Lewis Klare and Ever Hansen. Mrs. Emma Monson and Mrs. Ralph Webber sang "God Will Take Care of You," and "No Night There." Mrs. Vivian T. Petersen presided at the organ.

Those who came from out of the city to attend the services were Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Allen, Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. A.F. Nuttall, Steger, Ill. and Mr. and Mrs. S. Nordall and family, Beloit, Wis.
