Funeral services for Mrs. Herman (Anna C.) Riedesel, 95, were held at St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Wheatland, Jan. 23 with the Rev. Harold Koenig officiating. Burial was in St. Paul's cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Schanze, Joel Paulsen, Steven Riedesel, Lloyd Hamdorf, William Schroeder and William Knoche. Honorary pallbearers were Wayne Riedesel and Elmer Ericksen. Shirley Christensen was organist and Deane Boom was vocalist.

Mrs. Riedesel died at Wheatland Manor Jan. 20.

The daughter of Jochim and Anna Lienau Hamdorf, she was born at Lost Nation Nov. 2, 1892 and was married to Herman Riedesel at Lowden Dec. 30, 1915. He died in 1966. She spent most of her life in the Wheatland area and was a member of the Wheatland A.L.A. and St. Paul's United Church of Christ.

She is survived by a son, Roger, Wheatland; 2 daughters, Esther McAllister, Dade City, Fla. and Mrs. Leonard (Betty) Pedersen, Harlingen, Texas; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 2 sisters and 6 brothers.
